So It was a bit of a downer for ps3 owners to hear that a franchise which made it's mark first on the ps2, wouldn't be getting this extra content. This leads to some pretty crazy moments, when a whole gang turns around on you, in the middle of a fire fight. It's basically a game of reverse tag, where everyone is after you, and whoever kills you, then becomes the target.

But out of them all, 'Lone wolf Biker' is probably our favourite. That's true Jung, there's no handbreak on that thing. It's great fun, but if you fly as bad as Bajo, you probably don't have anything to worry about. But if you really want to get the adrenaline going, chopper vs chopper is a fast paced, cat and mouse game between a toughed helicopter, and a bike. This works best when the the defending side works together to setup road blocks and attackers try to flank the bus. 'Witness protection' sees one side defending an armoured bus, carrying a state witness, and the other loaded up to make sure they don't ever reach the safety of a police station. There are a few tweaks to match finding as well.

You can also reset by holding Y, which is handy if you accidentally drive into the subway. In some races, you can now baseball bat your opponents. Stickwaggling aside, what we like most in this download, is the multiplayer, and we wanted to test the modes out fully before tackling this review, AND xbox360 controllers only have a 3 month warranty.

There's heaps of new stuff, weapons, cars and mini games, beware of the arm wrestling though- it requires Beijing Olympics 2008-like stick waggling, and I've met 3 people now who've had their controllers busted from Beijing.

Also, like the PC version of GTAIV released not too long ago, this DLC is uncensored, so prepare yourself for unlocked cameras, drug use and full frontal nudity. I agree Baj, it was pretty full on in GTAIV, but this is ridiculous. Yep, the voice acting and motion capture is great, but dialouge is often stilted - the writing just lets these characters down- not even bikers need to swear this much Jung, and it's not that I'm against swearing - It just that they've jammed vulgarity into every single sentence without any real reason to, and that makes the characters seem 2 dimensional, and unrealistic. Your biker buddies aren't very likeable, and even though running amok with them is fun at times, pretty soon you'll want to ditch that bike for a nice sports car, and go for a cruise, simply to get away form their whinging. You play Jonny K, Vice President of the LOST gang who's a bit unhappy to be taking second place now that Billy, the gangs leader, is out of Jail. Yeah Jung, GTAIV is a beautiful game, the new effect just makes it seem low res, instead of the intended 'hardcore'. But, first thing to do though, is turn the 'silent hill' filter off. If you like Bikers, or Bikes, or GTAIV, this is right up your alley. It can range from a whole extra chapter of a game such as in Killzone Liberation, or simply a discount on vending machines, as in Bioshock.īut now it's Rockstar's turn, with xbox 360 exclusive content for Grand Theft Auto IV, titled 'The Lost and Damned'. When a developer puts on their promise hat, rumours of glorious downloadable content are usually the first thing you hear.
